Everything began with a vision…
I wanted a holiday in the little Kulbas Teardrop trailer. Park it somewhere near the water and spend the whole day and night there. Just rest – drink great coffee, laugh, swim, take photos, make a fire…
Soon enough I realized that my expectations were unrealistic. A place where we are alone, but there is electricity. Somewhere next to the water, but in an open field so there is lots of light and Noa can run around.
We went to Engure without a plan, which is out of character for me. We went to several possible places and they were either not what we were looking for or all booked. And then completely by accident, we saw this place in one woman’s property. She was happy to rent it to us for a night and we ended up in the exact place I had envisioned, except even better.
It was like a smile from God. He had already prepared the perfect place and the perfect weather for us to create beautiful memories and rest.
Sometimes dreams are big and far off and demand lots of time and work. And sometimes dreams are smaller – beautiful, happy holiday in nature. This dream came true for me this weekend. With star gazing at night, sleeping in a trailer, excellent coffee in bed with the view out to the see (and yes, I took my coffee machine out to camping holiday), smoked fish smell and moody Autumn mood the next day.
And here is our long photo story. There were so many lovely and beautiful things this weekend so there are a lot of photos!

Chothing for me and Noa is from Lindex Autumn collection which I eagerly await every year. It is my favourite season in nature and in fashion… and this year they haven’t let me down again.
